    Business Referral Service

    Through its extensive resource network, the Association receives many enquiries from clients seeking quality plasterers. Clients who contact the association are referred to WASPA members in their locality who have the required expertise.

    Site Inspection Service

    WASPA provides a Site Inspection Service for plastering problems within the Perth Metropolitan area, at a nominal rate. A suitably qualified independent assessor carries out the inspection and prepares the relevant reports. To email us about our site inspection service, click here

    Access to Plastering Standards & Specifications

    Recognition for Plastering Excellence

    The West Australian Solid Plastering Association holds an annual Plastering Excellence Awards Night to recognise members who have made a substantial contribution to the solid plastering industry. Members are invited to submit nominations for awards in various categories, such as:

    Product Technical Data

    Building materials are constantly changing. It's important for members to keep up with new product developments. WASPA assists in providing technical specifications, manufacturer's instructions, and material safety data sheets on a wide range of building products.

    Information can be obtained by contacting the Secretary, or by following the links in the Business Referral Service to the manufacturers' websites.

    Industry Training

    The Association is involved in a number of training initiatives. These include:

    • Plastering training courses
    • Product knowledge training
    • Factory tours for members
    • Information courses for supervisors and construction managers
    • Industry Trade Nights with manufacturers and suppliers

    Industry Updates

    Members are kept up to date with industry events via monthly committee meetings, regular general meetings, industry trade nights, mailing lists and newsletters.
